By the time I was 2 years old my mother and I had long since left the beaches in favor of traveling further into the forest of my foal hood. We would travel between water sources, meeting all sorts of animals along the way, from giraffes that could reach the clouds to leopards that would try to harm my mother and I. One of my favorite memories was when we encountered a herd of gnu around a small pond.
I remember running around with some of the younger individuals, chasing and play fighting until our parents called us back to their sides. I had asked my mother why our group was so small compared to the herd.
“Well you see my little bir
I grew like a weed, fed by the land and my mother’s stories. By the time I was a year old I had grown familiar with the forests and beaches that made up my home. The ocean had become my friend and I played games with it, jumping its waves and searching for its many treasures. However, I was always aware that the ocean did not share my love and was always ready to sweep me beneath its surface never to be seen again.
So while the ocean was my playmate, the forest was my sanctuary. It was where I slept safely with my mother, and where we found food and drink to sustain us. I was always safe in the forest, and it was in the forest that my
“Little one, it’s good to finally meet you.”
I opened my eyes and immediately was forced to squint at the bright light that awaited me. Once I adjusted to the light my head whirled around taking in my surroundings, all of which were new to me. I heard a chuckle and looked to see a mare, my mother, getting to her feet before she began to groom me.
“Your story has just begun, little one.” My mother said as she watched me struggle to stand for the first time. The palomino mare’s eyes shone with joy as she watched me take my first few steps so that I could nurse.
“Come along my little Wren, we need to
After Dina and her otter friend took their nap the pair went back to their playing. The otter, who revealed his name to be Surf, even decided to stay with the mare.
This revelation had Dina shooting upwards as she leaped from the water before diving back down and swimming happily around the otter.
“Follow me, I’ll show you some of my favorite places!” The mare said happily before she took off towards the reef with Surf following behind. Once the two reached their destination Dina began to show her new companion around her favorite place.
The mare was excitedly chattering to the otter that she didn’t notice the other
After the fleeing from the angry stallion, Dina went about to look for the otter that she had been playing with. The mare found the little creature sleepily swimming around, possibly having been looking for the mare.
“Here, I’ll make you somewhere to sleep. Would you like that?” Dina asked, smiling as she watched the otter give a small nod.
“I’ll be right back.” The mare replied before she dove down to find some loose weeds and kelp that she could use.
As she swam about, she caught a glimpse of the stallion from before, and the mare immediately swam behind a clump of seaweed. Dina peeked out around the p
After giving the otter the treat Dina was glad to see the creature swim over. “I told you I wasn’t so bad.” She said with a giggle before she reached out and nuzzled the top of the otter’s head.
“Would you like to play? We could do tag or see who could jump out of the water the highest.” The mare suggested getting an answer in the form of the otter swimming over and touching her with its nose before it sped off giggling.
“So that’s how it’s gonna be then.” Dina said before she dove under the water and swam after the slippery mammal.
The two swam and frolicked among the waves, taki
Angel had practically kidnapped Quick and their boucles when she had heard of the snow games, she immediately pulled out one of the carriages under the pretense of training up the unicorns for the events.
It took awhile, but soon enough the two unicorns were ready to move to hauling a sleigh outside of the arena that they had grown used to.
Angel and Quick had harnessed the unicorns before they entered the sleigh.
“We’re going to start off nice and slow.” Angel told the bluenette who had taken the seat beside the blonde.
“Thank god.” Quick replied, tucking their hands into their coat pockets as Angel flicked
After a couple of weeks of training, Quick had finally gained Blitzen’s trust and was currently able to halter and lead the stallion without issue. The only problem was that everytime they tried to put the stallion in a stall, he freaked. So, the stallion had been living in the outdoor arena since everyone else needed the indoor arena to practice with their horses. It’s not like Blitzen seemed to mind anyway as the unicorn would often bury himself in the snow and always seemed to be coated in a layer of frost. Quick however did mind as it meant that they had to work outside in the cold whenever they went about training the stallio
Guess who's back and better than ever. I know I've been away for a LONG time, but as a recent college graduate, I have more time that I want to spend doing something I love. I will be cleaning and redoing my account including arpgs. If we were friends before and you remember me feel free to shoot me a note. Also send me a message if you have/know of any cool arpg groups/breeds. So excited to get back to art. Hope you guys have a great day!
